Hawkins & Parnell values diversity and strives to create a supportive environment that enables all of our personnel to achieve and deliver excellence in their professional careers. We actively embrace different backgrounds, viewpoints, and perspectives as we endeavor to promote diversity in our workplace and our community.
The Firm recruits, hires, promotes, and compensates all staff and attorneys without regard to race, gender, age, ethnicity, national origin, disability, veteran status or other characteristic protected by law. We know that the collection of our varied personal perspectives and life experiences makes our firm better able to identify with and serve the needs of our diverse clients. According to the 2007-2008 National Association of Legal Professionals (NALP) Legal Employers survey, Hawkins & Parnell meets or exceeds the national diversity averages for law firms of our size between 51-100 attorneys.
Hawkins & Parnell actively participates in community programs to provide social, legal, and economic opportunities to the underprivileged and disadvantaged. Many of our attorneys hold leadership positions in the state and local bar associations and other not-for-profit organizations that are dedicated to legal education and mentoring opportunities in a diverse community.
